Preparation

  1. Take a small cup and pour 1 spoon milk and 2 pinch kesar in it. Press it with a small spoon till the colour of the milk is changed.
  2. Take a pan, add 2½ cups of water on medium flame and add ¾ cup of sugar. Add cardamom powder of approximately half a spoon and let it boil. After one boil, off the burner and add 2 drops of natural orange colour (food colour) and the mixture of kesar and milk.
  3. On the other burner place another pan on medium flame and add ¾ cup ghee, add cashews and almonds and roast them until it turns golden brown. Remove it and keep them aside. Make the flame slow and add 1 cup Pillsbury™ Rava. Roast it till it turns golden brown and starts releasing oil.
  4. Add hot sugar water carefully in small quantities and keep stirring to avoid lumps. Add raisins and keep stirring till it becomes a little thick. Turn off the flame once it has slightly thickened and cover it with a lid for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve them with poori or as a dessert.
